If you are troupe - the next event is the Production Meeting “Kick Off” on May 11 7 pm at Grand View College’s Viking Theatre. There you will get:
- to see the set!
- a set diagram
- props list
- randomly chosen genre (Comedy or Musical, Drama, Mystery, Romance)
- your time slot on which day you will perform and your tech rehearsal & dress rehearsal schedules
- your 10 free tickets for your performance day
- your 711 Theatre Project badges (for credentials during the 711 and to use for discounts from Atomic Garage for costume rentals)
- required elements

- sign up for your rehearsals in the space
- Answers to questions and so much more

Time is ticking …
What a fun and information time we had at the workshops today at Grand View College’s Viking Theatre! Several troupes took advantage of attending their free entry into the workshops (and got a sneak peek and inside information about the Viking Theatre - but don’t worry, they didn’t pry any secrets from us about what the set, props, required elements are … we stayed mum). Also, we were glad to see others from the community take part of the workshops as the information is of value to those wanting to expand their artistic works in the performing arts.
If you didn’t make it - we sure missed you and hope that you take advantage of any workshops we plan in the future. All of our workshops are low in price - but a big bang for your buck!

Description: The nuts-and-bolts of how to write an effective short play. Covering character development, plot, theme, conflict, climax and resolution as well as other topics.
