About the show
Time Flies by David Ives
Two lonely but sweet young mayflies meet at a pond and really hit it off. Unfortunately, Horace and May watch a nature program on this first night out and discover they have a lifespan of only one day—and their lives are half over.
The Frogs by Aristophanes (adaptation by Thatcher Williams)
Aristophanes was the greatest of the Old Comedy playwrights and The Frogs is his statement about the decline of dramatic art - only second-rate tragedians remain. Dionysus misses Euripides, and wishes to bring him back from the underworld where Euripides is contending with Aeschylus for the throne of Drama. Originally a full show, this version cuts the legs out from under The Frogs and does it in one-third the time.
Joe and Stew’s Theater of Brotherly Love and Financial Success by Jacqueline Reingold
Joe and Stew await the second act of a show in a community theater, only to find they’ve survived an atomic bomb explosion and must now decide exactly what to do with their new world (and a mutated Theatre Critic).
