About the show
Cell Block Sirens of 1953 does to women-in-prison what The Rocky Horror Show did to Sci-Fi.
They’re women! They’re in prison! And they’re doin’ a musical!
What could be better than women acting like animals in prison? How about men in drag playing women acting like animals in prison?
You’ll be arrested by the developments that unfold as you follow our ingénue Hope Allen from her trial to her days in Cell Block Q.
From delousing to cavity searches our innocent young maiden doesn’t stay that way for long. Throw in a musical (and prisoner) loving doctor, a sadistic warden, crazy inmates, catchy songs, and an alligator - Hope will be lucky if she gets out alive.
WARNING: This show contains strong language, sexual situations, gun shots and police sirens.
