Take a fragment of “Fawlty Towers”, a modicum of “Monty Python”, a granule of “Good Neighbors”, a dash of “Dr. Who”, a pinch of “The Prisoner”, a scrap of “Star Trek”, Elvis Presley, Ouija Boards, Alternate Dimensions, Overdue 17th Century Library Books, Mysterious Catacombs, Something Called An ‘Atavachron’, and of course Pirates … and you have our September show: “The (Continuing) Amazing Adventures of Nigel & Bridgette.” Think of it as Rob and Laurie Petrie meet the X-Files – but in England.

For those of you new to our world, Welcome Fellow Travelers into the Amazing!

We are Nigel & Bridgette … an ordinary loving British couple who, together with our perfect, yet occasionally insufferable neighbors, Simon and Sara Jones, are thrown into one extraordinary adventure after another.

We are finally bringing our astonishing stories to you, our fans. Think of them as a sort of “Survival Guide” for the day when you too, will be exposed to the extraordinary.

Last year, we provided you with critical knowledge on how to survive a worldwide zombie uprising, time travel mishaps, and of course, psycho-kinetic neighbors (it happens more often than one might suppose).

This year, we have three brand new, scintillating stories that will help you in even more desperate situations.

In our first foray into the unbelievable, after a seemingly harmless game of “Ouija Board”, we find ourselves trapped in an alternate dimension populated only by Elvis Presley! Or, at least, that’s who he appears to be. It’s now up to our neighbors, Simon and Sara Jones, to unravel our disappearance, and somehow rescue us before we become forever trapped in a land of peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

In our next incredible installment, an incident with an extremely overdue library book leads us to resign from our Royal London Library volunteer posts. After a fiery resignation, we find ourselves in a strange utopian society known only as “The Villa”. There, we have been assigned a number only, and must now unravel the mystery of this strange place, or forever be enslaved in a society of nameless numbers.

In our fitting finale, Simon and Sara Jones attempt to install a Phase-Shifting Interferometer as a surprise gift for us! But the installation leads to a startling discovery: The Captain’s Logbook of the H.M.S. Enterprise. We soon discover that all of our great-great-great-great-great relatives were involved in a mysterious incident at sea in 1677. Will the re-telling of this story finally reveal the reason why we appear to be at the epicenter of all these Amazing Adventures?
